it's just what i needed!
but, as Vortican knows, I'm working on a long-forgotten work. [and don't any of you DARE mentions this bloggo's namesake... and Vortican don't spoil it!] but I was having some trouble with inspiration... having trouble creating the scenes of this great epic... and then!
THEN!
THEN!!!
O, geez, this is the third time in four days I'm crying... I watched one of those awe-inspiring period dramas... one of my ultimate favs, Jane Eyre. I've read the book so many times, I've lost count. I've seen the movie [with ruth wilson and toby stephens... gah!] and sweetness, I've GOT IT!!!
"You've got it," as my English teacher says. and I eagerly await posting it on Holy Saturday. [the delay is only because I'm going to need to do some mojo typing up of it... eek!]

sorries...
I woke up around ten to the sound of knocking on my door. My tongue was thick with sleep. My eyes could barely open. There were crutches by the side of my bed. Oh great. I grabbed the crutches and wobbled over to the door, swearing under my breath.
“Who is it?” I said grumpily.
“Adyin,” I was replied. I flung open the door and flung my arms around him, crushing a bouquet of roses in the process. He laughed so freely – and I felt like I could fly. What a feeling that was. I never knew how much I loved him until I actually didn’t have him. He buried his face in my neck and commented on the lavender-chamomile smell. He has always loved that. He kissed my lips in the sweetest way ever and gathered me up in his arms. He dumped me on the couch and put the bouquet in a vase. He sat across from me and just looked like an interesting TV show was playing on my face.
“What?” I asked.
“You are so beautiful,” he said.
“Goob,” I said.
“Huh?” he asked confused.
“I read in a book once that goob is a term of endearment. It means that I like you – and, of course, I do,” I smiled. I giggled like a giddy teen – which it seemed I was.
He smiled.
“So why did you really come here?” I asked. I waited for a few minutes.
“I was wondering if you would come with me to Church,” he whispered. I hadn’t known Adyin was religious – I knew he was an Catholic, but I didn’t really know he went to church and all. I was Anglican myself, but not very religious. I couldn’t think of any way to say that God wasn’t my thing.
“Um, sure,” I said. Adyin grabbed me in his arms again and made me hold the crutches.
“Oh, and, since you’re not Catholic, don’t go for communion,” he said. “You don’t want to be called a heretic.”
“Okay.”
I knew that Guardians tended to be more religious and that most of them were eastern European. What I didn’t know was that there were so many Byzantine Catholics that they no longer said the Roman Catholic Mass. Adyin sat with me in the back, his arm wound around my waist. There was lot’s of sitting and standing and I dozed off a lot. There were reasons I hated late nights on Saturday. Afterwards, there were people congregating in the dining room for coffee and donuts. Tonia was there talking with Adam – I remembered that Adam was Greek Catholic and Tonia was Orthodox. I guess I didn’t figure them as religious either.
“Oh, Tess,” Tonia said, hugging me gently. “How are you? That guy was such a jerk to do that to you.”
“Tonia, he was drunk,” I laughed. “Plus Prince Charming was there to rescue the damsel in distress.” Adyin had walked off to get me a cup of coffee – I hadn’t known he was standing right behind me when I said that.
“Prince Charming, am I?” he asked, wrapping his arms around me. He kissed my cheek. “I’m cool with that.” Tonia winked and sat down with Adam right next to her.
We talked until the maids shooed us off for not letting them clear away the plates and get ready for lunch. Adyin got called off on business.
“I’ll miss you,” he whispered, running his hands through my hair.
“I’m cool with that,” I quoted. “Prince Charming.”
“Damsel Tess,” he teased. “Have fun, cripple.” He gave me a quick kiss and walked off.
Nuff for now, dears. And Vortican's fan fic [which i'll post eventually...] gave me the next scene :D :D :D thanks Vortican!

more than a whole lot.
I believe our subject is called an oxymoron - like a rich beggar, nice shack... ya know? well, off the dang randomness...
Has anyone noticed that Fr. Taras looks like those guys that sing "Those Rosy Roses" in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"? o, wait, i think that's a whole ton more randomness... oops :D
well, more FoRM!!! [and it's my all-time fav scene!]
The ride was short and in style. Gorbachov's house was packed. I half expected to see a bunch of old people – which wasn't entirely a lie, but there were many, many younger people there. They stared after Tonia and
We were introduced to many guests. Mr. Gorbachov – who I've never seen in my life – treated us like we were his children. He told his butler to show us to those who we already knew. The butler lead us down many winding corridors. It was a luxurious place.
The butler lead us to what seemed to be our own private ballroom – I wondered what he did to have so much money and how on earth he had recreated some eighteenth century mansion in the
"There's someone who wants to see you," he whispered, taking my hand. He led me off into a corner. Before we reached it, he left me. "Forgive him," he said. Who was him?
When I saw him, I did not recognize him – how could I? He looked like he hadn't slept in weeks – not just days. The light that I found so comforting in his eyes was dulled – like he hadn't seen the light of day for years. Could it be possible that we hadn't seen each other for two days?
Adyin. Adyin, my Gaelic little fire. My heart skipped several beats. I couldn't breathe. Could it be possible that I'd actually missed him that much – in such a little time? It didn't seem all that possible. He looked like a hobo. His beautiful black hair that was usually slicked back was in his face. He turned his sad, sad, blue eyes on me.
"You look fantastic," he smiled sadly. I slid into the booth he already sat in. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have come."
"No, no," I soothed. "I'm glad you came – but I'm not quite sure why." I took his hand and used my free hand to brush the hair away from his face. "There," I announced. "Presentable." He turned his face away from me and took a long gulp of whiskey. "What's wrong?"
"Did you miss me, Tess?" he asked. He stared right into my eyes. I snuggled against him and hugged him.
"Yes, immensely," I replied. Adyin looked surprised.
"Really?" he asked, shocked.
"Yes," I whispered. He wrapped his arms around me and just held me there. His arms felt so good and so right and so very warm around me.
"I missed you too," he replied. "Actually, it's pretty pathetic, but I haven't slept or eaten anything for days. Every time I blinked your face blared across my eyelids. I had to come and see you because – well, because I love you. I had to tell you that I love you." He kissed my hair. I just sat there, mesmerized by his soft British accent. It was the first time he'd ever said he loved me.
"You love me?" I asked.
"Yes."
"Truly?"
"Yes." I just sank into his arms and hugged him tightly. My chest puffed up like a rooster. I smiled uncontrollably. "You still smell like lavender and chamomile," he whispered.
"It's my perfume, what did you expect?" I teased. "I'm going to get a drink, do you want something weaker than a shot of whiskey?"
"You're trying to decided weather or not to trust me, eh?" he smiled. I nodded. "That's okay," he said. "I wouldn't trust me." I kissed his cheek and stood up.
While walking over to the drinks, I felt a hand on my waist. I spun around to find a completely drunk stranger trying to grab me in all the wrong places. I shoved him away.
"Excuse me," I said harshly. "Back the heck off."
"What, you set up a lap dance for him, but not for me?" he slurred. He tried to wrap his arms around my waist. I slapped him so hard that people started turning and staring.
"I said don't touch me," I said as menacingly as I could manage.
"No woman says no to Sir Barry O'Liven," he shouted.
"I believe I just did," I sneered. He threw a punch that landed right on my jaw, then kicked my feet out from under me.
I skidded on the floor and heard my ankle crack painfully; I held my jaw in pain. Sir Barry O'Liven came and stood over me; I spit in his face.
"You little – " was all he got out before someone grabbed his suit and shoved him into the bar.
"You leave her alone," Adyin growled.
"What? You don't want to share?" Barry laughed. I shuddered. Adyin grabbed his coat so roughly, the seams ripped.
"I said leave her alone," he said, narrowing his eyes and staring right at him. Security rushed into the room next. They took Sir Barry O'Liven into another room to calm down. Adyin ran to my side, but, with his long legs, there wasn't much room to run. He gathered me in his arms and I cried on his shoulder. He soothed me and whispered how brave I was. I didn't feel brave. I was ready to have an all-out breakdown. Tonia and Adam were there in a flash, but Adyin shoed them off.
Gorbachov came and lead Adyin to a nurse's office where I got butterfly stitches in my cheek and jaw and my ankle in a bandage. Adyin lounged in a chair and I lay on him. He wrapped his arms around me and hummed. I fell asleep.
Okay, I know that was a long segment, but I couldn't shorten it :D anyways, it was very good.
All my love,
Asiat

GOD MAKES 7UP!!! OMG's!
"God makes 7up" [it's a personal fav!]
"We're all wet rags!"
Clergy Jam = multitude of clergy in walk-way.
"I don't wanna be no Jesus-man!"
Without further adieu, more FoRM!
There was a knocking on the door.
“Hey, Tonia, Tess?” Adam called. “The party’s in two hours. You guys had better be getting ready.”
“Okay,” I called out. I heard him walk down the hallway. I turned to Tonia. “We have a problem, Huston.”
An hour and a half later, Tonia just finished my makeup. I was wearing the dress. I felt really sexy, like I could do some major flirting in this dress. I guess I was like every other teen girl on the planet – I wanted some prince charming to notice me, right? Boy, would they notice me now. Tonia had done her own dressing and makeup before mine.
We ran downstairs, clacking down in those heels. Adam was waiting for us. He looked good. Tonia blushed.
“What’s this?” he asked. “Tonia blushing? Highly doubtful.”
“Oh, for crying out loud!” Tonia cried. She looked at me with an utter look of despair. I took my letter out of my purple clutch and silently handed it to Adam. He scanned the letter and his eyes widened the farther he read on. He looked at Tonia and blushed himself.
“I’m not sorry, Tonia,” he whispered. I pretended to walk off, but kept my ears wide open. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Adam touch her hand and then brush her cheek. “I’m not sorry at all. Slap me if you want, but I like this plan. I like – love – the idea of being your boyfriend.” Tonia turned her face away. I wanted to shriek how stupid she was being – I officially hate etiquette and what was proper and reputation. They were perfect. Adam wasn’t half as shy as he pretended to be and Tonia was all out – they were perfect for each other!
“I’m not sorry either, Adam,” she whispered back. His eyes widened. “I can’t slap you, I’d much rather kiss you.” She reached up and brushed her lips against his. “I love you, but after tonight – don’t expect anything. I wouldn’t hurt either of our reputations over this. You will be great and I will watch and love you from afar.”
“Are you trying to depress me before I’ve begun to enjoy myself?” he asked with a sad smile.
“No, no,” she whispered. “But I can’t ruin you. Enjoy yourself tonight because it’s the last you’ll get. I’m sorry about that.” They had confessed their love – that was worth squealing a high-pitched, fan-girl squeal, but they didn’t know I was listening. I clamped my mouth shut. “You know,” Tonia whispered, “I didn’t believe Tess when she told me you liked me.”
“She – what?” he asked in shock. He turned to me. “You told her?”
“I’m – I’m so sorry, Adam,” I bit my lip. “I kind of had to tell her. Be mad at me, but seriously it was worth it.” I was ready for Adam to yell and scream at me, but, instead, he grabbed me in a tight bear hug. Tonia reached over and stroked my cheek.
“Thank you so much for telling her what I couldn’t,” he said.
“Um, no problem,” I replied. “I guess.”
Felix walked in on our little hugging spree. He coughed, “Sorry to break up the love nest, but the limo’s here.” Adam wrapped an arm around Tonia’s waist and offered to do the same to me. Felix grabbed me first. “Oh, no,” he laughed. “You get one beautiful woman, I get another gorgeous woman.” Felix and I linked arms and skipped down ahead of Adam and Tonia. Everyone assumed they were just getting into character. I knew better!
“Hey,” Felix said with a wink. “They’re not acting are they?” He nodded back at Tonia and Adam.
“Nope,” I said shamelessly. “But you tell and I swear that I will set a terrifying mythical creature in your bed – maybe a frog.” We both laughed.
All my love, darlings!

serious evil laugh!!!
I stopped at my room and grabbed the boxes and walked to Tonia’s room. I knew what I was about to do was wrong – I was going to tell Tonia about Adam, about just how much he liked her. But, do you know when you feel obligated to tell someone something? That’s what I felt like. I felt like I couldn’t be completely honest with her unless I told her the complete truth. Tonia was my friend – had protected and loved me at my worst – had known all my faults and still loved me. This could free her (I forgot that it could also bind her, too).
I knocked on the door and opened it to find Tonia staring at herself in the mirror – wearing an amazing black and emerald dress, about knee-high short and thick straps. It didn’t hug every curve – but she looked good. And, who was I kidding – she always looked good. On her feet were emerald green stilettos with green ribbons tied around her ankles and calves. I let out a wolf-whistle.
“Wow,” was all I could say. I saw a note addressed to her standing on the edge of her bed. She hadn’t opened it, so I did. I read it aloud:
“Dearest Tonia,
I never thought I’d see the day my little girl became a Guardian. However, you are not in on this investigation as full Guardian – your friend, Felix will be official acting Guardian. You are to pretend to be Miss Teresa Ashby’s companion and to be the girlfriend of Adam Polyxena. That is the reason for the dress. I don’t want you endangered. Please do this – for me.
I love you, my dearest,
Andrei”
“Gosh, what’s wrong with him? I knew Felix was heading this with me, but to take me almost completely off? And make me wear a dress? And stilettos?” Tonia shook her head.
“Tonia – wow,” I said. “Now’s not a good time for what I was going to tell you,” I mumbled to myself.
“What?” she asked. “What were you going to tell me?
“No, no,” I replied. “I can’t tell you now. It’s just wrong.” Tonia held my shoulders and sat me down on her bed.
“What is it, Tess?” she asked. “C’mon, tell me.”
“Adam loves you,” I whispered after a minute.
“What?” Tonia choked out. “What did you say?”
“Please don’t make me say it again – I promised not to tell, Adam’s going to kill me,” I moaned. “He likes you – more than anything.”
“But he asked you out?” Tonia said, unbelieving.
“It was more because it was expected for him to go out with me than with you,” I explained. “We’re just really good friends – I guessed it on the plane trip when he was looking bloody murder at Felix. Please don’t tell him.”
“Tess, darling,” Tonia sighed, “I can’t ruin his reputation or mine like that. I cannot fall in love either. It won’t work out. I’ll just forget you said anything. What’s your dress look like?”
I’d almost forgotten about that. I wanted to argue Tonia and Adam, but it was useless. Tonia gasped when she took my dress and shoes out of the boxes. The dress was grey and strapless – clinched at the waist with a bright, thick purple belt. I shucked out of my clothes and slipped it over my head. I strapped the purple platform heels on my feet.
“This – is – gorgeous,” I said, admiring my reflection in the mirror. I strutted around the room, the dress accentuating the way that my hips moved and how great my pale legs were.
“Wow,” Tonia commented. “These people are way too rich.” This was amazing. Like a dream world. “Look, you have your own letter:
“Dear Teresa,
I will not have my employees going around looking like vagabonds. I do have one request, however. Your superiors are backing me up on this. Antonia will play to be Adam’s girlfriend and you will be his sister. You are to flirt with the general population. Please enjoy the party – but the afterparty will be where your work begins.
Sincerest wishes,
Mr. Gorbachov”

a dash of poetry and some salt
But enough of that. You all know how I'm seriously addicted to ye ol' remakes of ye ol' classics. The latest is Charles Dickens [who knew?] 's romance, Little Dorrit. It is soooo charming. I could watch it forever. *fangirl squeeeee*
But anyways, sadly for Vortican, I forgot that poem I came up with. BUT, consolation prize - I made up another one that's loosely based Little Dorrit. No wonders there. Here goes:
He will take her to wonderland,
Where the water is clear
Where the guy gets the girl
And there is happily ever after.
He will take her to a place
Where the wild dreams come true
And tell her that when you love someone,
You see their eyes in the sky
And the sky in their eyes.
“Welcome to wonderland, love,” he’ll say.
“Welcome to the home you’ve been waiting for.
Welcome to the place where you belong.
When the world hates you,
Come back home to me,
To love,
To the wonderland.”
And she will respond:
“I will wait for you.
Until the bills get paid
And your work gets done,
Because I love you that much.”
He touches her cheek and kisses her mouth,
He knows she’s not pretty,
but she’s downright gorgeous to him.
“I’d rather gather you up,” he whispers,
“In the circle of my arms
And never ever let you go.
Because who wouldn’t?”
“Who wouldn’t,” she echos.
They are a perfect pair
In the wonderland air.
The streetlights are dim
And the air is warm.
There is no one but the other.
No mother, sister, or brother.
Welcome to the wonderland.
All my love,
Asiat
