Well, my loves, it is long awaited, and finally here. Vortican, rejoice. I willd promptly fall asleep.
We talked for another hour. Adam was so easy to talk to. He thought like I did. He was easy to get along with. I wanted him to be happy, though. Those stupid etiquette laws – they had no right to keep Tonia and Adam from at least dating. That set my mind thinking on Adyin and on a million different ways I could bring Tonia and Adam together. Adyin – the only man who had ever set my heart thumping, the only one who had come up to me and said he thought I was sexier than Tonia. I think I might kind of miss him eventually, but love… well, it’s tough and I don’t want to deal with it now.
Adam got tired. We left and he went off to his room, but I went to Tonia’s. I knocked on the door. Tonia answered and I saw one of our favorite movies playing in the background.
“Want to have movie night anyways?” she asked, smiling.
“Yeah, yeah I do,” I answered. She pulled me in and we sat on her bed in her amazingly cool bedroom watching movies till three o’clock in the morning – we dozed until noon or so as well.
We sat down groggily over coffee.
“How posh to you think Mr. Gorbachov is?” she asked with a giggle.
“I don’t know… maybe golden floors rich,” I said smiling back. It was great to have Tonia back. Great to know that she didn’t hold my jealousy against me and that she was jealous as well. It felt better – but not right. Something in my heart was a little off, but I was feeling good – and wasn’t about to not relish this feeling. I felt better than I had been in a while.
We both heard the thumping coming down the hallway, the labored breathing, the drama.
“Where are you guys?” Adam called out.
“Right here,” I replied. Tonia’s face became kind of like a stone mask. She just shut down herself. “What’s up?”
“Okay, so there’s a limo coming at five,” Adam said breathlessly. “We’re invited to a party at – “
“What about Gorbachov?” Tonia asked, raising an eyebrow.
“It’s at his place,” Adam said. He turned his eyes on Tonia, he smiled; she almost lifted a corner. “And he wants us all dressed up.”
“Dressed up,” Tonia said flatly.
“Yeah,” Adam replied lightly. “Like tux and silk dresses dressed up.”
“So specific,” I said rolling my eyes.
“That’s because he sent over the stuff this morning.”
“What?” I asked. This was shocking – employers didn’t usually buy things for their employees.
“He got me a tux,” Adam explained. “You have a super sexy dresses, both of you. They’re just sizzling, burn every guys retina dresses.” Wow. This was a new Adam, for sure. If he said they were sexy dressed – that probably meant that he had imagined us in them. Not good. “And the shoes,” he continued. I wished he’d shut up. Tonia was looking really self conscious. “The shoes are amazing. I hope you gals like extreme-ism.”
“We can’t take it, or at least I can’t,” Tonia mumbled.
“Nonsense, I’d love to see you in a dress,” Adam said, smirking. That was too close, much too close to telling Tonia how much he liked – loved – her. I grabbed Tonia’s hand and led her away.
“I want to see just how ridiculous these dresses and shoes are,” I said smiling. Tonia smiled back. Adam started following us, but I stopped him. “Adam, guys are not allowed to see girls when they’re trying things on.” His eyebrows went up and down. I gave him a stare that told him to watch it.

Iconography Class
It's the latest update - and it's not so bad.
I had this whole expectation - silence and meditation, people sneaking into church to pray about their icons... creepy seminarians singing in opera voices [vespers or something] on a CD.
that last part was right, only they didn't sound opera - they sounded like MEN not women on steroids or boys who haven't gone through puberty. And I, who was behind for being sick last week, caught up with everyone else. Thank you, Fr. Val :D I also managed to snag some seriously delish. cookies... if only I could've snagged the green tea and punch as well...
:D :D :D I am sooooo weird! I am working on FoRM, don't worry. It's coming soon!

More Random Opinions.
Another look at the many Opinions of Asiat.
I hate Terra Novas [SAT's the like]. It's the same routine. Read, answer, fill circle, repeat. The only plus side is plenty of reading time and snacks.
AND my other opinion of the day has been forgotten.
A nice tidbit is that my bedroom is cleaned. For the first time in months, I can see my dresser. YAY for spring. Not so much yay for Spring Cleaning. :(
Plus side is that I'm rewarding myself for the cleaning: chocolate and art. I'm going to destroy the walls with acrylic paint and paper. Yahoo!
As for the books, FoRM has not gone underground or limbo. I'm just working it into a fine work of perfection - and it's been going slow. I've been writing more 50 Extra Pounds of Love than anything. I'm not sure if I'll ever post that one either. You'll have to wait and see. Don't worry, FoRM is coming.

Let them eat cake.
Hello, my dears. I know it's been a while, forgive me. I have been ill, but right now, I've got tons to say.
Welcome to the post of Opinions. Opinions on everything from books, to the French Revolution, to Daylight Savings, to Katy Perry, to how D.S. ruined my day, to dance practice. I can hear it now...
All of you: Oh, joy. *communative rolling of eyes* At least she's back.
I hate Daylight Savings. I don't see the point of getting an extra hour of sunlight - can't you be happy with what you have? Got to be a little greedy, eh? I run on a nocturnal cycle anyways... what's the point of extra sunlight? You end up waking up at six AM and realizing it looks like midnight outside. Daylight Savings ruined my day. I'm in bed reading [this book will come up in the "books" topic] and my mother screams "Are you ready yet?" and I'm like... WHAT??? That has to be the fastest time I EVER EVER EVER changed into heels. Scratch "Daylight Savings" and "how D.S. ruined my day".
Left: Books, French Revolution, Dance Practice, and Katy Perry.
French Revolution it is. In Religion, we're doing a history class. [somehow it's relevant to all Confirmation students to learn the history of the Church. I was already "Confirmed" so it's whatever for me.] And hear we are, after Saxons, the Golden Age [Elizebethan Era], and the Industrial Revolution, we've reached the French Revolution. This is SO much more fun than Social Studies. No Maps. YAY!
God I love Marie Antionette. She's not the heroine of the F.R., she's the infamous bad girl that wasted the French crown's money. "Let them eat cake," right? Nope. She never said that - no matter the rumors. That sucks because it's an awesome quote... I wonder who really said it.
*ponders*
*comes back to earth* Anyways, it wasn't all Antionette's fault. It was past French Kings, bad parenting, and year upon years of debt which can all lead back to the "bad parenting" part.
Okay, Dance was a terrible sweaty experience. Dance [on the Sunday group] is the only reason I take cold showers. For all my buds, you know I almost never sweat. Sweat and people are the main reason I hate the Sunday Group.
Katy Perry is amazing. Thinking of You, I Kissed a Girl [controversy, controversy!], and Hot n' Cold are the background music of my life with the accasional Chasing Pavements and BLG songs.]
BOOKS: I know we all pretty much obsess over this topic. The book from the Daylight Savings section is called Speak. It's amazing, witty, and funny... but tragic and depressing. Doesn't it sound like my kind of story? At first, when I heard Kirsten Stewart played in the movie I was like, "She's going to ruin another one of my favorite books?" and then, after seeing it on YouTube, "She didn't ruin it... it's pretty good." the only complaint of that movie is that they took WAY too many direct quotes. :D :D :D
It's 11:52 P.M. and I still have a poem to write n' print for class tomorrow.
Wish me luck on the Terra Novas [SAT's or whatever else you call them]. I can say that the "get a good night's sleep" part doesn't apply.
All my love,
Asiat

Chasing Pavements
No book musings in this blog, darlings. I have been sick... am sick... again.
:(
Certainly less enjoyable.
So I emersed myself in books and music [i.e. the title of this post is Adele's Chasing Pavements, which is an awesome song!!!]
I ache allllllllll over :( this sucks most terribly.
I'm glad that Tess is growing on you. She's stronger than she thinks she is... and [a little tidbit for Tess/Adyin shippers] Adyin - after about a month of breaking up with her - realizes he really DOES love her. AWWWWW! but I'm not quite sure [it's not been decided] whether they stay together.
Oh wells.

aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww :D
:D :D :D Love me!
Adam was waiting at the coffee and bookstore of the lodge.
“What took you so long?” he asked lightly.
“Tonia came and apologized,” I said hugging him. I ordered some blood orange tea and he took a sip on some earl grey. “Turns out we were both jealous of each other, but you don’t want to hear about that right?”
“Right,” he smiled.
“Okay, what do you want to talk about?” I asked. He seemed to think about that for a moment and then grinned at me. I knew I was avoiding things I had to tell him, but I wasn’t ready for that yet.
“What do you think about life?”
“Um… do you have a more specific topic?” I grinned back.
“Okay, you don’t mind the random and specific?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Depends on the question,” I replied. He nodded.
“What’s your most embarrassing moment?” Wow. I sighed. That could have been a whole lot more personal and a whole less random, but I was glad he hadn’t asked something else. But the answer was simple.
“I slapped a guy,” I started. “When I was fourteen.” Adam’s eyes widened and he laughed.
“Really?” he asked.
“Really, really,” I replied. “And I ended up dating him, too.” Adam’s smiled wavered.
“About… Adyin,” Adam said quietly. “Um, you didn’t break up with him – for me – did you?”
“I broke up with him,” I said, but I held up my hand when he started to speak. “But, no, I didn’t do it for you. You made me realize a lot of things, Adam. Things like the fact that I wasn’t really happy dating Adyin; like I wasn’t happy not letting Tonia know what I was feeling. You’re a good friend – almost like a brother – but you will never be anything more.”
“No offense,” he said with a smile. “But I had no intention of ‘taking it to the next level’.” I laughed.
“Nor did I,” I replied. “I’ll always be there, but romance doesn’t exist for me. I don’t truly think anyone can feel that way about me, so why try and make them?” Adam put his hand on my knee.
“Someone out there will love you – romantically – for exactly who you are,” he said, staring at me with those deep brown eyes. “And, until that happens, you have me and Antonia. Don’t give up.”
